 Hi! My name’s Hina Mac and I'm from Japan! I am so excited to share with you about my love of travelling!!

As a blogger, the best part of travelling is about making strong connections with locals, uncovering new cultures and experiencing new lifestyles. Bonding with new people from different sides of this Earth always fascinates me because there is so much to learn behind every countries’ traditions! Although history and culture may be hidden to the human eye, I love it when they are brought to life through intercultural bonds, where their values and stories unfold! This is why the quote from Pico Iyer strongly captures my reason for travelling and has a special place in my heart:

"Thus travel spins us round in two ways at once: It shows us the sights and values and issues that we might ordinarily ignore; but it also, and more deeply, shows us all the parts of ourselves that might otherwise grow rusty."

In this journey’s chapter, I will be discovering Brazil, focusing on its diverse culture that connects people together. That’s why I’m so excited to explore the largest country in South America, which is a very unfamiliar place for me as a Japanese person. I hope to discover hidden messages from different cultural icons and engage myself with others to fully immerse in Brazilian culture and values.
